• CryptoQuant CEO predicts Bitcoin to experience a supply shortage. We are now in glorious times, normies are starting to pick up the fact that Bitcoin is really the digital gold. I expect these “limited supply” discussions to increase as Bitcoin halving approaches. (source)

• Pacmoon announces $PAC airdrop is in under 24 hours. $PAC will be the largest Blast airdrop with 40% of the supply distributed. Blast L2 depositors, early access referress and Risk on Blast victims are eligible for an airdrop. (source)

• Ethereum Dencun upgrade goes live today at 14.55 CET. DenCun hard fork involves several Ethereum Improvement Proposals. Most important of them all is EIP-4844, also called proto-danksharding. It is set to be a gamechanger for gas fees on mainnet and all layer 2’s. EIP-4844 will introduce a new concept called “blob” transactions. These are designed as a temporary data storage solution specifically tailored for Ethereum’s rollup needs. Unlike the current approach, blobs can store large amounts of data more efficiently and cost-effectively. By providing a more cost-effective way of storing large amounts of data, this upgrade will make it cheaper and more efficient to operate on Ethereum. Blobs are also expected to expand the data submission capacity for Layer-2 solutions when interacting with the Ethereum mainnet. This enhancement has the potential to dramatically increase the number of transactions the network can handle per second. Overall, users can expect a more scalable, efficient, and cost-effective Ethereum network following this upgrade. (source)

• U.S. inflation rate rises to 3.2%, higher than expectations. The FED has been addressing inflation through aggressive policy tightening, raising interest rates to curb demand and stabilize prices. A consistent decline in inflation is expected as evidence for the approach. (source)
