Doodles announce “a groundbreaking storytelling experience” from their collaboration with Pharrel Williams. Doodles’ first animated special will be accompanied by a Doodles soundtrack with three music videos featuring Lil Wayne & Coi Leray. This project dubbed “Project Gray” with music, series, live events, partnerships, digital collecting experiences & exclusive merchandise will roll out in summer 2024. (source)
Sappy Seals announces they pushed a new update to the staking dashboard that introduces Bits. Wab says there’ll be different types of bits that you can get from participating in the ecosystem. With the end of seal staking to earn $PIXL mechanism, this is a good strategy to keep seals staked. Keen to hear what will be the usecase for bits. (source)

Paypal users in the United States can now use stablecoin for sending money abroad. This is a great step for “mass adoption”. PayPal enabled tens of millions to use cryptocurrencies to send & receive money. There’s 435M people who use PayPal so if this program rolls out internationally the Tether treasury will definitely need to print more. This might be the first step from PayPal to support cryptocurrencies and become some sort of an EVM wallet in near future. (source)
Ripple announces they will launch a stablecoin pegged to the US Dollar. The digital asset is expected to arrive later this year and it will be available on both the XRP Ledger and Ethereum. CEO Brad Garlinghouse commented: “This is a natural step for Ripple to continue bridging the gap between traditional finance and crypto. Institutions are entering this space are finding success by partnering with compliant, crypto-native players and Ripple’s track record and resiliency speaks for itself". (source)
