• Magic Eden teases Ethereum Marketplace launch on 27th of February. Video showcases an Ape, ME’s mascot and Diamonds. ME had previously announced that they are collaborating with all the top NFT projects like Doodles, Pudgy Penguins, Sappy Seals, BAYC etc. They also launched Creator’s Alliance for sustainable royalties. Magic Eden is coming for the 1# Ethereum Marketplace spot !  (source)

• Cygaar launches “Divisible NFT” standard “DN404” which aims to be a hybrid ERC20/ERC721 token. He launched this standard to improve the new ERC404 standard that took crypto twitter by storm. The code is open source and is much more up to date with current existing standards and more efficient. (source)

• Franklin Templeton, with 1.500.000.000.000$ of assets under management, files for Spot Ethereum ETF. This filing had a great effect on markets, painting the board green. Spot Ethereum ETF is highly likely to get approved and markets are already moving accordingly. Deadline for SEC’s decision on the matter is July 2024. (source)

• Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy says “Microstrategy is now a Bitcoin development company, in the same way you would see a real estate or petroleum developer”. MicroStrategy is currently 3.500.000.000$ in unrealized profit from their Bitcoin investments.  (source)

Macro News

• X launches Creator Targeting. It will allow users to run pre roll ads on videos from a select group of premium X creators. This is another step to rolling out video ads and monetization for the general user base. (source)
